My Thoughts

I watched Marry Me during the flight to South Africa, I had seen the trailer before we left and thought I would give it a go seeing as it was on my to watch list. I also thought that with it being a romantic comedy it would be a nice easy watch.

Marry Me is definitely one of those stereotypical romantic comedy films that you can predict the ending of. However despite this it is still a film that you can enjoy without having to pay too much attention to it.

It has some catch music and a few (a lot) of cheesy moments but that is what makes us love a rom-com! I do think that the trailer made the film look a lot better than what it was but that doesn’t stop it from being watch able.

The acting is average at best however the music is relatively catchy – I definitely think that storyline was promising but the film overall could have been executed better.
