The suitcase is packed, online check in completed, forms filled in – we are ready!
It feels as though this has been a very long time coming as Covid caused us to delay this trip multiple times. But we are finally setting off on our journey and will be landing in South Africa tomorrow!
This will be the furthest I have ever travelled and although the journey feels daunting I am already looking forward to when we land!
I am planning on taking tons of photos and videos so that I can share what we get up to – this may finally be the trip that gets me back to posting here and on my YouTube channel regularly!
Hopefully I will be able to keep you up to date whilst we are away but if I am not able to then you can be sure there will definitely be plenty of posts and videos when we return!

I don’t mean to be a Debby Downer, but I lived in South Africa for 30 years and although it is beautiful, the crime rate is staggeringly high. Keep your wits about you and vigilant, and you should be fine 🙂
