Film Review: Pitch Perfect 3, Last Call Pitches

After the highs of winning the World Championships, the Bellas find themselves split apart and discovering there aren’t job prospects for making music with your mouth. But when they get the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour, this group of awesome nerds will come together to make some music, and some questionable decisions, one last time.

I saw the trailers for Pitch Perfect 3 and I was definitely in two minds whether I was going to enjoy it or not. I am always a fan of Rebel Wilson and knowing Ruby Rose was in it was the main selling points for me however when a film turns into a triology the third one is usually the worst of the bunch.

My favourite part of Pitch Perfect has always been the riff-offs but this time round it felt as though there wasn’t as many of them and it seemed to be less focused around the music and more around the story line. However I did enjoy it. There were the classic Fat Amy one liners and even though it felt like there was less music this time round and my favourite song was definitely the final one ‘Freedom! ’90’
